Preci-Coat SA is a swiss company located in La Chaux-de-Fonds,
canton of Neuchâtel.
Founded in 1982 by Mr. Bahman Miremad, Preci-Coat's main
activity was based on the use of high technology for vacuum coatings
made by ion bombardment, Sputtering. It was the first company in the
world to industrialize and to commercialize PVD coatings (Physical Vapor
Deposition) used for watch and jewellery industry.
Since then, Preci-Coat SA enlarged itself to include now 2 subsidiaries
and 3 departments which activities are independent and complementary
at the same time. All departments, gathered in a modern building, are
managed by highly skilled staff.
| This department gathered all vacuum coatings, made by ion bombardment (PVD), and all electroplated coatings used for watch and jewellery industry, spectacle trade, writing instruments etc. | |
| This subsidiary supplies all coatings made by Sputtering and by Ionplating. These coatings are particularly used for functional and medical applications (car industry, aeronautic, medical implants, pacemakers, tools etc.) | |
| This subsidiary conceives and manufactures vacuum coatings equipments. At present, two machines manufactured by Ionimac are used by Preci-Coat.. | |
| This department is a metallographic analyses laboratory mainly used for Preci-Coat's need but also for its customer's need. | |
| This department is in charge of partial or global development of a product, from its conception to its manufacture. This department is responsible for quality control, delivery terms, prices etc. and becomes warrant of the whole product. Only one interlocutor for three criteria : rationality, efficiency and rapidity. |
